Desperation

This Game is a bit of an experiment really.
It's not meant to be all that graphic or music focused.
But rather a game sort of like cat vs. mouse. You the monster are in search of a hero (your formal self no less) who dooms himself and the entire world by the collection of four keys. Although you have incredible powers that let you pass through walls and screen-warp, if the hero ends up in the same room as you or collects all four keys it's game over.
Additionally the hero opens doors when moving from room to room and emits faint a dark aura that let's you see him from a safe distance.
SOME STUFF EXPLAINED IN BETTER DETAIL:
If a door has been broken by the hero, it'll be represented as a black sprite. Follow these to catch up to him.
The only way to win is to find the hero and shoot him from another room. Fortunately your bullets will move through walls just fine. Though it's best if you aim right through an open door. The hero's hit box lies in the center of the room. If you can see his aura it means you're at an appropriate range. Do make sure he isn't entering into your room or it's immediately a game over.
The four keys are located in 4 corners of the room. Unfortunately they are indestructible, so don't even try attacking them. That means the room must have only two doors. And thanks to screen warping you can just move between these once you've reached any one of them. This is by far your greatest advantage over the hero so use it well.
Please rate based on your enjoyment of the concept. I'm sorry as this is my first jam game. And I really barely had any time to nitpick here and there. Do make sure to comment though . I'd love to hear all you have to say. On with the game then, have fun :D
Special thanks to cd91 for composing the main theme.
